SYMBOLS:

Our Badge

The badge of Alpha Omicron Pi contains the three initial letters of ‘Alpha Omicron Pi.’ They are superimposed upon each other.

Our New Member Pin

The new member pin is a sheaf of wheat. The binding

together of the wheat represents the individuals bound by the common bond of Alpha Omicron Pi.

Our Color

Cardinal red is the fraternity color. It is also the color of the fraternity flower and the fraternity jewel.

Our Flower

General Jacqueminot (a deep red rose). Chosen because its color is the symbol of the central and essential virtue of the Fraternity.

Our Jewel

The Ruby

Our Magazine

Alpha Omicron Pi's magazine is named TO DRAGMA. In Greek it translates to “the sheaf.” The name was selected because it is a reminder of the common interest that unites all AOII members; because it represents harvest, which is a record of accomplishment; and because it is the uniting of members through communication.

Our Mascot

The Panda is considered the unofficial mascot of Alpha Omicron Pi because it has no natural enemies.
