What's the Commitment?

Being a member of Alpha Omicron Pi isn't just through your college years, it's a life long commitment. This doesn't mean that when you graduate you need to become and adviser or work with AOII it just means that you will always be a part of AOII and will always be welcome to anything AOII related. The friendships you make in AOII are life long as well. Who knows perhaps one of your sisters will be a bridesmaid in your wedding.

Looking at school year commitment AOII is easy to juggle with other organizations, a heavy class load, or a part-time job. Each semester we create a calendar, which lists all of the mandatory events you need to be at. If anything gets added to the calendar during the semester you will receive at least a two weeks notice or it wont be mandatory. For Pi you will need to have a few weekends to spare but as stated above they will all be listed on the calendar in advance for you to plan around work and other commitments.

Our chapter meetings are held every Monday night on the third floor in the University Center. Room numbers will be posted on the calendar as well.

For the amount of experience and learning you gain in AOII it's definitely worth it to make time in your social calendar for this wonderful organization.

If you're curious about some of the stuff we do during the semester feel free to send us a qestion. Or See our Philanthropy page to read about some things we do during the semester.
